Over-fragmentation is irreversible.

Disklace prevents it from turning into expense

Why is it important?

When Fragmentation level  increases, and you fill it by the response time of your computer - it is far too late and Defrag won't help too much.

If you just knew when  to Defrag you could restore performance and avoid the upgrade to your computer that you are probably thinking about now.

In 60 seconds you can know if you need to defrag or not.  Just  download  Lacelevel2.

You do not  risk an unnecessary Defrag of your disk, unless it is really required.

Highlights

Lacelevel2 is the desktop product  which calculates the fragmentation level of your disk. It is also distributed by Google as a gadget for Google Desktop Search. Downloading it from here enables both functions.

LaceWatcher enables distributed fragmentation management on your servers, workstations, PCs and Linux machines by a central operator - preparing a maintenance priorities plan. You may now control data quality and save a lot of resources.

Extended Services: A unique view showing  the severity situation benchmarked versus  the industry standard - with suggestions and action plan.

Why haven't I heard about it before?

Our products fill the gap between disk and computers manufacturers. They both have good reasons not to motivate users for preventive maintenance by not supplying reliable tools.

The classical Bell-shaped distribution of the Lacelevel factor guarantees that our measurement technique can be trusted.

Our plans for the coming year

LaceDefrag  - A light defragmentation utility  achieves a relief at its first stages of operation (see graph) . Register for availability notice.  Evaluation  runs already started.

Lacelevel2 Linux EXT2/3 is ready. We  are about  to start calibrating the factor, but will wait until we have enough users to try it on their disks. Please  click here to join in.   .
